Technology Leadership in Schools EDCI 4993, Sec. 602, Fall 2001 Video LessonIn this project you will work to include video, digital video, and other digital graphics in support your work in curriculum development. This project should take the format of a formal lesson (or unit) plan. The format for deliverables for this project will be (but not limited to) multi-media Microsoft Word and/or Excel documents. Part 1 -- 10 pointsResearch activities and recourses to support using video and other digital graphics in an educational setting. In no less than three (3) pages, discuss 2 ideas about how projects that involve using and creating video can be used in curriculum development. Attach this document to an eMail message to our list -- iceCap. Copy and paste the text of this document to the assignments section of our message board. The message and eMail are due at 4:00 PM the Sunday December 2.Your documents should be constructed using Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and/or Excel, iMovie, Photoshop, etc., and include several features of advanced desktop publishing and multimedia covered in our classes during this semester. Everyone is responsible for completing this part of the assignment even though you are working in groups. This is a instructor graded assignment, worth 10 points towards your final grade in this class. There are no wrong answers. This is your chance to demonstrate that your skill set is advancing (I build better MM documents than I did in September). Do your best. Grading rubric: An appendix to your document should list the multimedia applications used to create your documents. Explane something you learned in using this multimedia applications to build your documents. This assignment will become one item in an electronic portfolio you will build during this class.
