Exam 1

FTP

Upload and Download documents to your Web Site

You will need to complete installation and initial use of an FTP client program on your home computer (or another computer that you may use in completing web site development assignments for this class.

Grading rubric:
  • 100 points - demonstrate success by copying at least one (1) document form and one (1) document to the College's Web Server.
  • ed.uno.edu is the name (host) of the College's Web Server
  • tec.uno.edu is another name for the College's server (alias)
  • your user ID is the first initial and your last name ... i.e. George North's user name is GNorth.
    • Upon success, you will eMail iceCap with a messages that states "I did it!" George will reply with an eMail with your grade for Exam 1, i.e. 100 of a possible 100 points.

    There is no deadline for completing Exam 1, except that other assignments will soon require that you be able to FTP.
