In Class Presentation!
A hyperlinked, multimedia web-based lesson -- for example, a WebQuest
Design, develope, and deliver to our class a web-based lesson. In class presentations are scheduled for Tuesday, October 22. You will have up to 10 minutes to present your lesson to class. You will not have time to teach (present) a complete lesson. You should explain the lesson and what is your understanding of the educational worth of including web-based recourses and how you developed / found these recourses..
Before beginning your work, you should determine the purpose of the lesson, the intended audience, and the benchmarks, frameworks, or standards used by the lesson. You are free to use any form you like so long as you can meet the requirements of the rubric below. Keep in mind that a "web-based" lesson is not limited to using just web-based recourses.
This is a instructor graded assignment, worth 100 points towards your final grade in this class. There is no wrong way to complete this assignment. Work hard, do your best.
Grading rubric: Using the assignments section of WebX'ing, you will document everything you did to complete this assignment. Include the purpose of the lesson, the intended audience, and the benchmarks or standards being met by the lesson. Include an explanation of problems encountered and how you solved them. Your explanation should be NOT more than one (1) page.
This assignment will become one item in an electronic portfolio you will build during this class. Your portfolio will be the basis for assessment of your final grade.
