Purpose of this assignment
  1. Document a technology infused, interdisciplinary, multimedia lesson
  2. Practice constructing the DOE recommended format for publishing lesson plans
  3. Know how to use the DOE web sites for locating Content Standards, Benchmarks, Foundation Skils, GLEs
  4. Use ISTE web sites for locating and including Technology Standards
  5. Practice making Interdisciplinary Connections
  6. Recognize student's special needs and include accommodations
  7. Give an in-class presentation (see below)

Grading rubric for your Final Exam (Portfolio Item 4)

Part 1: (50%) St. of Louisiana, Dept. of Education, Standard Form Lesson . This is due before 4:00 PM the day before your final exam, and should be turned in using Blackboard's Digital Dropbox.
  • 10% Content Standards and Interdisciplinary Connections
  • 15% Benchmarks and Grade-Level Expectations
  • 15% Accommodations and Modifications
  • 10% Educational Technology Standards
  • Part 2: (50%) In-class presentation. This is an in-class presentaion on the date of your final exam. Your presentation will be maximum 5 minutes and will cover the topics below.
  • 20% How your lesson uses multi-media content
  • 20% How your lesson infuses technology
  • 10% How your lesson meets the needs of diverse populations
