This is a graded assignment. You will:
1). participate in BlackBoard Discussions
2). complete Diamond Health Club, Case Problem 3 from Tutorial 2

You should be complete reading Tutorial 2. If you also worked Case Problems 1 and 2, then you are well prepared for this assignment.

BlackBoard Discussions
13 Points Maximum
There are several Forums setup in the Discussion Board section of BlackBoard. Each discussion should be self-explanatory. The name of each discussion ends with - 9Feb and 2Feb, both are to be used during the week Feb 9th.

You may add as many threads to these discussions as you like. Each time you substantially participate in one of these discussions you earn 2 points, maximum 13 points.

Grading Rubric
  • 6 points - HTML is well documented and easy to read
  • 6 points - HTML is error free as certified by W3C as XHTML 1.0 Transitional
  • 6 points - Web pages are well designed and easy to navigate, site is at least 3 webpages (2 points each page, maximum 6 points)
  • 6 points - using the "id" attribute, as described in textbook p.74, "Staff" and "Hours" links to locations within the Welcome page
  • 3 points - another (new) webpage contains links to other health related websites, 1 points each link (maximum 6 pts) -- text p.90
  • 3 points - links to webpages that are external to yours open in a second window or tab -- textbook p.99
  • 3 points - links correctly use both Absolute Paths and Relative Paths , as describe in textbook, p.71
  • 2 points - correct use of eMail address links
  • 1 point - use a "<meta" tag to describe the content of your web pages, textbook p.105
  • 1 point - links to at least 2 of your fellow student's Diamond Health Club site

When I grade your work, I will ONLY look at HTML elements that you point out with comments. In other words, I will not go looking through your HTML code trying to find graded elements myself.
