You should be complete reading Tutorial 3. If you also worked Case Problems 1, 2, and 3, then you are well prepared for this assignment.

BlackBoard Discussions

There are several Forums setup in the Discussion Board section of BlackBoard. Each discussion should be self-explanatory. The name of each discussion ends with - 23Feb or 16Feb, indicating that it is to be used with this Assignment.

You may add as many threads to these discussions as you like. Each time you substantially participate in one of these discussions you earn 3 points (maximum 10 points).

The Help Forum works differently this week. Ask as many questions regards Tutorial 3 as you like, you may know the answer to your own question, you may not. Every time a thread is added that answers one of your questions -- YOU EARN 3 points. Repeating, when someone answers one of your questions, YOU EARN 3 points, maximum 6 points. Increase your chances your questions will be answered by NOT repeating someone else's question.

  • 15 points - Web pages are well designed and easy to navigate (as judged by George, ONLY one of us will receive full 15 points for this item
  •   5 points - HTML is error free as certified by W3C Markup Validator as XHTML 1.0 Transitional or XHTML 1.0 Strict, your choice. Cascading Style Sheet is error free as certified by W3C CSS Validatior
  •   5 points - one point for each Webpage, maximum 5 points
  •   5 points - HTML decorated with comments that document all graded elements
  •   5 points - links to other Websites related to travel, one point each link, maximum 5 points
  •   2 points - style that modifies the text and background colors of page elements
  •   2 points - style that modifies the font size, face, and appearance of element text
  •   2 points - style that defines an element's padding and margins, distinctly different in at least two directions
  •   2 points - style to define the border appearance of an elements
  •   2 points - style that floats an inline image or element
  •   2 points - style that adds a background image to an element
  •   2 points - style applied to a <div> container identified by an "id" value
