Data Files for Students

Tomson Course Technology, the publisher of our textbook, maintains a website that you can use to download all the data files needed to complete course assignments. Also included are ALL example files that are referred by the text. Download instructions are provided. I strongly recommend that you establish a folder on your computer where you can keep all files associated with our class. You may also want to use sub-folders for all the files associated with each Tutorial. By the time you complete our coursework, your will have 100s of files. And, you will need them all to the very end of class. Get organized NOW!!!

Downloadable files include on the textbook companion website are .exe files -- self-extracting archives that work ONLY on Windows PCs. If you will be using a Macintosh for you work in this class, or if you just prefer to have .zip files instead of the .exe files, BlackBoard's "Course Documents" is for you. On the BlackBoard site for our class, inside the "Course Documents" tab, you will also find a set of "Data Files for Students". Note, that you need ONLY download these files once (not from both sites). If you are confused, send eMail to your instructor (gnorth@tulane.edu).

Follow the link to our textbook companion website. There are additional student resources on the companion website and you can download Data Files for Students.
