  1.   0 points - no gradable Canvas Discussion Forums this week, but there are new Forums, including a new picture to ID.
  2.   7 points - Tutorial 4's Example WebSite, Cycle Pathology. Make sure you link your Cycle Pathology and American Rhetoric WebSites together so that it is easy to navigate between them.
  3.   5 points - all WebPages include the minimum HTML illustrated in our HTML Template.
  4.   5 points - Web pages have visual appeal, are themed, and are easy to navigate (as judged by George), ONLY one of us will receive full 5 points for this item. What does that mumbo-jumbo mean? The visible design of a WebSie is highly personal. What is attractive to you may not be attractive to me. Our class, "WebPage Design and Development" concerns all the Design you can't see ... the HTML and CSS. So, in the big scheme, it doesn't matter if I think your pages look good, visually. Except for this one Rubric Item, my opinion matters. So, you tell me your design ideas when you write your WebSite Elements, and I will take that into consideration when forming my own opinion. In other words, you tell me why your WebSite looks good, and you will earn most of these 5 points.
  5.   5 points - Discussion of WebSite Elements. Make sure your WebSite Elements WebPage is linked to the other pages of your WebSite so that it is easy to navigage between them.
  6.   5 points - start a new folder on CPST WebServer to keep your WebSite organized. Follow Guidelines for Naming files and folders.
  7.   5 points - HTML and CSS are documented/commented. Make sure you include documentation where you are meet grading rubric items, something like this -- example Documentation
  8. 20 points - link each item in the lift side navigation list to an approbate WebSite external to your own, 1 point each link, maximum 20 points. There are 16 linkable items already, to earn 20 points you need to create 4 other similar items.
  9.   5 points - HTML is error free as certified by W3C Markup Validator.
  10.   5 points - CSS style sheet is error free as certified by W3C CSS Validation Service.
  11.   1 point   - link your WebSite to our Assignments WebSite page.
  12.   1 point   - all WebPages are named correctly. See this WebPage for more info -- Guidelines for Naming HTML Files and Folders.
  13.   1 point   - add a style rule in history.css to display the header, section, and nav elements as blocks.
  14.   1 point   - float the navigation list on the left page margin.
  15.   1 point   - for the links within the navigation list, set the color, remove the underline, and change the color when user hovers.
  16.   1 point   - use a pseudo-class to create a drop-cap in text of Lincoln's speech.
  17.   1 point   - create an irregular line wrap by using Lincoln's image which is in 10 slices, use a style rule for inline image elements to float each image on the right.
  18.   1 point   - test your WebPages with multiple browsers, at least with FireFox and one other.
  19.   0 points - keep in mind that its not a WebSite unless your individual WebPages are linked for easy navigation.

Please, make sure you link your WebSite Elements WebPage and your American Rhetoric WebPage to/from the your Cycle Pathology WebPage. For grading purposes, you need to make navigation from page to page as easy as possible. When you send eMail to George to turn-in this assignment, you need only to include the URL to the main WebPage.
