  • Check assignment for next week. This is a multi-week assignment!!!
  • Some of us are still forgetting to put full names on all eMail to me and to our list.
  • Remember Links to Explore.
  • Reflecting on your readings from this last week
    1. We will wait till after the mid-term exam to do reflections
    2. I remember excusing you'll from written assignments for last and the next two weeks. Just keep in mind that not using "Links to Explore" every week is a lost opportunity. It is worth while doing even if there's nothing to be turned in.
    3. BTW ... Links to Explore continues to grow based on input from Wednesday's class.
    In class this week:
    1. How are your Rubrics?
    2. Why, as Educators, are we interested in this article about the Big Three Auto makers.
    3. Work in Groups, finish your mid-tem exam presentation
    Every week
    1. Bring a floppy disk to class ... one that you use on your own computer at home, school, work ... from the computer you plan to use to do your class assignments.

    3. Send me attendance eMail.

    1. I know ... I know ... There is no required assingment this week. This is here just in case someone wants to do it anyway?
    2. Due by 4:30 PM, on the Sunday before our next class.
    3. Remember last week's syllabus included assingments for this week and next
    4. These links will serve as the basis for our assignment over the next 3 weeks ... including the Mardi Gras Holiday.
    5. Remember, because of the structure of this assignment, the work of all of your classmates depends on your timely responses every week.
    6. Your assignment for week of February 28, see last week
    7. Your assignment for week of March 6
    8. From the responses to last week's assignment -- pick one (or more) to use as input to your assignment this week. Do some additional exploring using your new knowledge or insights.
    9. If all else fails, you can always use one of the (3) "Links to Explore" groups you didn't use last week: Authoring for the Web, HyperText & Writing Space, and Web-based curriculum recourses.
    10. In a few paragraphs, document what you found. Did it peaked your interest. Why or why not.
    11. From your exploration, point us to one or more on-line resource you found interesting. Explain why.
    12. Add a Link -- add this web site to your class Web Page by using the Add a Link feature we talked about during the first weeks of class.
