Today's Virtual Class
  • 9:00 AM -- Your web site is available on the World Wide Web.
  • 9:00 AM -- You have eMailed Emma the URL of your web site.
  • 9:00 AM -- You completed posting messages to your Disscussion Group descrbing your web site and your experiences of this past week. You should describe the web site itself, it purpost, intended audiance, its context (i.e. unit plan), and your expectation of how others will benefit for using it.
  • Before 1:00 PM, everyone will browse the web projects using our Web Site Index Page.
  • Before 1:00 PM, everyone will visit the Discussion Groups for these projects and read each author's comments about their work.
  • 1:00 PM -- You will join our chat room where everyone will be given an opportunity to discuss this first project. Everyone will have about 5 minutes to present their comments about this project and to have a pier review of this work by the members of their respective group. PLEASE, remember that during a project chat ... ONLY members of that person's group will be allowed to send chat messages. This means that including the presentor, no more than 4 or 5 of us will be sending chat messages. We will practice this in class today.
  • 9:00 AM on Sunday, everyone will visit the Discussion Groups for these projects and post comments that include your reactions to the work of your fellow students. You are also encourged to reply to comments made by others. Make an effort to post comments in every Discussion Group. Be constructive.
  • Please remember that during the chat my messages will appear in red ... it would be nice if I was the only one using red!
