Personally, I think it has to happen at home rather than in the classroom. If teachers can realize what a great time saver technology is in their record keeping and begin using it, then using it in the classroom will come m=naturally

At my school's back to school night last Wednesday, I talked with my parents about the importance of each student having a calculator at home to hold in his hand, just as a ball player has to get the feel of the bat. The parents related to that as true. It's the same with teachers.

Connie -- it is a program that the sysop cna install which does just that -- prevents manipulation of the desktop and programs. It is excellent in a highlab setting school . It prevents the studetns from tinkering and messing things up.
