  • vClass Meeting
  • We will practice for our vClass meeting on Nov. 26.
  • The topic of the vClass meeting is "Intellectual Property, Copyrights, and the Web"
  • Our vClass meeting will be conducted using the Exam 4 Groups.
  • By next week, each Group will pick a area of Intellectual Property, Copyrights on which to focus.
  • Your Group will become an "expert" in your area of focus.
  • During our vClass meeting on Nav. 26, each Group will host a discussion around their area of focus.

  • Do you know your grades yet? Exam 1, 2, 3 and Book Review 1, 2. Send eMail to George, ask for your grades.

    Exam 4
    Next week is last in-class meeting before Exam 4 presentations.
    vClass Meeting
    There is no next week assignment as such. In class next time you will be free to work in your groups on Exam 4. We will also practice using the Chat Software. You are responsible to make sure that the "Chat" stuff works with the computer you plan to use on November 26 for our vClass meeting. This can be a comuter anywhere in the world, so long as the Chat works. In case you cannot get access to a computer that you know works, you can alwasy come to our classroom at UNO. The vClass meeting will start at 5:30 sharp, so everyone should plan to join the "chat room" by 5:15. This vClass meeting will last something less than 2 hrs.

  • Explain in some detail what you learned about your area of focus
  • Before our vClass meeting starts at 5:00 on Tuesday, Nov.26 ... read the messages posted by each group and be prepared to ask questions
  • Everyone should have 2 or 3 questions in mind for each of the groups's topics.

  • Summary of your work, posted to WebX'ing discussion -- due Sunday (Nov.10) at 4:00 PM
  • In class presentation, Tuesday (Nov.12) ... in about 10 minutes, show us the resulto of your work, explain how you did what you did. Why is this better than your work on Exam 2?
  • Make sure you work is uploaded (FTP) to our class web site.
